Overview

Senior BIM Manager (Buildings) – Hybrid role based from our EC office in Damansara City, Malaysia. This position is responsible for executing buildings projects for Enterprise Capabilities and offers a hybrid work schedule including both office and remote work opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • BIM Implementation Strategy – develop BIM Implementation strategy and deliver complex international projects.
  • CDE Management – establish and administer the CDE and support efficient management of multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Project Management – coordinate BIM execution and project delivery with project leadership.
  • BIM Execution – create and maintain the project’s industry framework documents : BEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices, etc.
  • Technical Support – establish data-integrated workflows for buildings projects and provide support, guidance and training to project teams.
  • Digital Technology & Content Management – oversee production of smart object content, templates and libraries; deploy AECOM content management systems onto projects and promote best practices for collaboration, coordination and delivery.
  • Quality – establish and administer digital quality assurance control procedures.
  • Collaboration – act as an ambassador for a global group, working with regional project teams, Enterprise Capabilities office disciplines and other Digital departments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements

    • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards.

  • Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Buildings projects with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience delivering BIM data from Buildings design and BIM software such as Revit, Civil3D, OpenBuildings.
  • Experience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and / or Bentley ProjectWise.
  • Experience performing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management; advanced user of Navisworks, Revizto, ACC Model Coordination.
  • Strong background in technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Buildings projects.
  • Visual programming – preferred (Dynamo, Bentley Generative Components and / or Grasshopper).
  • Demonstrated portfolio of BIM for Buildings projects.
  • International experience with global project teams; experience on projects in the Middle East is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written); team player and mentor with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professional Qualifications

    • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or related discipline; project execution experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 14+ years of industry experience in BIM and Digital Delivery; prior formal multidiscipline BIM Manager role on large-scale Buildings projects.
