Finance Executive (Korean Speaking)

Penerangan pekerjaanProvide Korean-English translation support across Finance, HR, and Office Operations. Facilitate effective communication between Korean-speaking staff and non-Korean speaking stakeholders. Serve as backup support for the Taiwan entity and HQ operations when needed. Collaborate with regional teams to ensure continuity of operations during staff absences or peak periods. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferred. Proficiency in Korean and English (spoken and written) required; ability to translate business documents accurately is an added advantage. Professional qualifications such as MIA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA or similar considered a plus. Well versed in accounting standards, procedures, and practices. Keep abreast of latest accounting standards and relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and finance software. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Excellent analytical skills, with ability to analyze and summarize complex information. Strong understanding of business and finance principles to interpret data and make strategic recommendations. Appreciate the importance of a high level of accuracy in data produced. Demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Provide day-to-day assistance to outsourced professionals in Korea.
Act as a liaison between the Korea team and regional / global teams to ensure smooth communication and operations.
Review and prepare the Korea entity’s financial statements in HQ-prescribed format.
Ensure timely and accurate submission to support SEBU’s consolidated financial reporting.
Finance Operations Assistance
- Support BU Manager in managing finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal control processes.
Language & Translation Support
Cross-Regional Backup Support
Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior, ensuring timely and complete execution to meet the company and Finance department goals and objectives.
