Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting-related matters.

Support audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.

Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.

Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.

Qualifications A successful GL Accountant should have :

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and financial reporting.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
