Sr Accountant

Accountabilities

• Review all the accounting entry and ensure that high quality month end closing to ensure completeness, accuracy and integrity of accounting data in SAP and OneStream.
• Review monthly reports and quarterly SEC / SFAS reporting package prepared by our Shared Service Center.
• Review and perform monthly management accounts to comply with US GAAP SOX requirements.
• Working closely with traders and provide accounting results to traders via pre-close and after-close meetings.
• Support Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and other functions by providing the necessary accounting data.
• Preparation of Sales and Services Tax on a Bi-monthly basis and liaise with our auditor for yearly statutory accounts and other local / statutory reports requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Business / Accounting or professional accounting qualification with more than 5 years working experience in Financial Accounting, preferably Commodity Accounting with hands-on experience.
• Good communication skills, ability to interact well and communicate with all levels of staff, including senior management.
• Knowledge in US GAAP is an advantage
• Preferable to have SAP or OneStream experience
• Preferable to be from Agribusiness industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Experience working with Shared Service Center would also be highly appreciated.
