Job Summary :
We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Customs & Trade Compliance Manager to manage all import-related documentation and compliance tasks for our wine portfolio. The role focuses on customs declarations, bonded warehouse withdrawals, excise / tax stamp processing, and regulatory license renewals. The position also supports daily order entry and invoice posting for internal operations.
Responsibilities :
Customs & Compliance Tasks :
- Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations for all imported wine shipments. (Lampiran B9 etc.)
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs for import clearance. (eg, K1,K8 &K9 etc.)
- Manage bonded warehouse withdrawal documentation and ensure duty compliance.
- Handle tax stamp sticker applications for alcoholic products.
- Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of all regulatory licenses, including import licenses, wholesale licenses, and excise-related permits.
- Maintain a proper filing system for licenses, permits, customs documentation, and excise / tax records.
- Track compliance deadlines and alert management on upcoming renewals or regulatory changes.
- Prepare and apply for Had Gerakan for shipments to East Malaysia, ensuring full compliance with alcohol movement regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with all Malaysian trade and excise regulations governing the import and distribution of alcohol.
Daily Operation Support :
Daily order key-in and invoice posting.Post invoices for daily delivery, ensuring alignment with order details and pricing.Coordinate with sales team on any price discrepancies or item discrepancies between orders and invoices.Requirements :
2–3 years experience in customs declaration, import documentation, or trade compliance, preferably in alcohol, wine sectors.Familiarity with uCustoms, MDNP , and related applications.Knowledge of bonded warehouse processes, excise regulations, and license renewal procedures.Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Diploma or degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field.Prior experience managing wine or alcohol import documentation and East Malaysia shipments is highly desirable.
