Senior AI Engineer

This job is for a Senior AI Engineer who creates smart systems that can think and act. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will take ownership of building and deploying intelligent agentic systems end-to-end. You will design and implement workflows that combine large language models, planning, memory, and external tool use — while also delivering robust APIs, integrations, and user-facing interfaces. This role sits at the intersection of AI R&D and full-stack engineering. You’ll work across the entire application lifecycle : from agent design and model integration to building front-end interfaces, observability pipelines, and internal tooling. You will help define technical standards, mentor junior engineers, and shape our reusable agent infrastructure as we expand across domains. Design and implement agents with persistent memory, planning, and tool orchestration Build modular and reusable agent templates for internal and client-facing projects Develop backend infrastructure and APIs to support agentic workflows Integrate with third-party data sources, vector databases, and enterprise APIs Build front-end interfaces and internal dashboards to visualize agent behavior and outputs Create tooling for prompt versioning, evaluation, and logging Collaborate with the CTO to shape internal architecture and best practices Provide mentorship and code reviews for junior engineers Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background 4+ years experience shipping AI / ML-powered applications Proficiency with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Autogen, CrewAI, LangChain agents) Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Node.js) and front-end tools (e.g., React, Svelte) Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and LLM orchestration patterns Strong understanding of software engineering principles : testing, modularity, CI / CD, and observability Comfortable working across ambiguous problem spaces and iterating quickly Hiredly X, the headhunting team of Hiredly, makes headhunting accessible and affordable for every employer, no matter the size or industry.We help employers screen and source the best candidates through exclusive access to our job portal database.Assisted with AI, we make the headhunting process fast and accurate, allowing us to be competitive with our fees.
