Job Summary The Cyber Security Assessment (CSA) is an integral part of ICS Protect with an aligned goal to protect the Bank from information security threats by delivering effective information security services. As part of ICS Protect, we work effortlessly in ensuring the Bank soundly meets its commitments to internal and external stakeholders and maintains an appropriate cyber security defence posture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls for applications & infrastructure systems

Act as security liaison for all key business and IT projects

Perform risk reviews based on ICS standard requirements

Provide advice and support to developers and other relevant support teams in designing and implementing risk mitigation / remediation measures

Review risks and identify root causes for common risks and provide recommendations for sustainable improvements

Report risks and risk summaries accurately to various stakeholders

Train & mentor junior staffs

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

    Skills and Experience

    Minimum 10 of years’ experience in Information Security, preferably in Banking and Financial services sector.

    At least 5 years or more hands-on experience on application / infrastructure risk assessments.

    At least 3 years of experience in implementation or management of security tools / projects

    Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent is preferable

    Knowledge of securing cloud environments like AWS and Azure.

    Deep understanding of frameworks like NIST, ISO, and PCI-DSS, and how they apply to the organization.

    Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent is preferable.

    TRAINING Minimum 10-14 years’ experience in Information Security, preferably in Banking and Financial services sector. Out of which :

    At least 5 years or more hands-on experience on application / infrastructure risk assessments

    At least 3 years of experience in implementation or management of security tools / projects

    CERTIFICATIONS CISA, CISM OR CISSP IS PREFERRED
