The Shop Assistant will be responsible for assisting the retail store manager with working the floor, managing inventory, and providing customer service. The position requires physical fitness and excellent stamina, good interpersonal skills, and strong team spirit. The Cashier will be responsible for assisting in receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Shop Assistant :
- Receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stocks delivered
- Labelling and arranging goods on the display shelves
- Assisting customers in finding the products they're looking for
- Addressing customer complaints and inquiries
- Responsible for retail selling
Cashier :
To be in charge of the cashier counter / order stationHandling cash and customersMaintaining up-to-date accounts to prevent missing money from the drawer or accountCounting and checking collection of the day and submitting to the cashier headProcessing sales according to procedureRequirements :
Minimum SPM qualificationAge between 18-30Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailGood communication and interpersonal skillsPrior experience or basic knowledge in retail is an added advantageOfferings :
