The Senior Sponsorship Executive will liaise and attend meetings with Commercial Agencies, account managers, and internal personnel on sponsorship matters, supporting the Sponsorship Manager in reviewing partner activations, marketing plans, and CRM initiatives, while also assisting the Sponsorship unit with various administrative needs.

Organizational Relationships

  • The Senior Sponsorship Executive reports to the Sponsorship Manager.
  • The Senior Sponsorship Executive may also report to anyone as assigned by the Director of the Commercial Department.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Sponsorship Executive's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Manage various internal AFC processes and timelines for the Sponsorship Unit, preparing first drafts of internal memos and adhering to internal departments' timelines.
  • Accurately prepare all call / meetings notes within agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with the Sponsorship Manager, AFC's various account managers, as well as internal departments in relation to partner rights, taking an efficient, solution-oriented approach to communications.
  • Review various sponsor activation plans, guidelines, competition regulations, and digital / social marketing plans, proactively suggesting ideas, identifying issues and challenges and, if necessary, escalating them to the Sponsorship Manager in a timely manner.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

    • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the football / sports industry. Experience in sponsorship rights development and delivery will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree holder in relevant fields.
  • Well-versed in managing multiple projects and accounts, ideally at an agency and / or a rights holder environment.
  • Experienced in developing integrated marketing plans.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizing and project management skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
  • General interest in Asian football and its growth.
