Director, Process Excellence Knowledge (Malaysia / India) – Standard Chartered The Process Excellence team, part of Group Transformation Office, requires a Process Excellence (PE) Knowledge Co-Ordinator to partner across the organisation to raise process excellence awareness and capabilities across SCB. Target audiences include management, PE practitioners, Business Analysts and other stakeholders. The role supports the transformation agenda by raising technical capabilities, driving consistency and quality, and providing colleagues with a clear career pathway to develop and grow their careers. Underpinned by our ambition to standardise, simplify, and digitise the bank, the PE team provides foundational capabilities to identify challenges and opportunities, raise transformation ambition, and support process optimisation (waste elimination, process simplification, digitisation and automation). What will you do?
The role holder will partner with the PE team, S&T, HR Learning & Development and external vendors to build and run a dedicated PE Knowledge Hub for targeted SCB audiences (e.g. management, Global Product Owners, Global Process Owners, Domain Owners, PE Practitioners and Business Analysts). This role brings PE knowledge and best practices aligned with the SCB Learning & Development framework to help colleagues develop their technical skills and grow their careers. In partnership with other stakeholder groups (ST HR, support partners), this role will ensure the PE knowledge framework is fit for purpose and delivers value for PE practitioners and the Bank, providing a sense of belonging and a clear career path supported by competencies and training. Key Responsibilities Define and build vision, capabilities and implement the knowledge framework for relevant personas / practitioners in the Bank Drive a culture where best practices, knowledge and lessons learnt are captured, disseminated and embedded in Process Excellence at Standard Chartered Collaborate with the PE community and other groups to ensure PE training offerings meet needs for efficiency and consistent high standards, delivering value to clients, colleagues and shareholders Gather feedback from stakeholders and participants, prioritise and embed knowledge capabilities across the organisation Influence and inspire colleagues to drive transformation, continuous improvement and SCB transformation capabilities Work with HR, talent and learning teams Identify opportunities and act as an agent of change Develop and support learning, knowledge sharing capabilities to upskill the PE community Champion the Group’s values and culture; lead through example and collaborate with partners Lead and support a mindset shift to standardised metrics and measurement, ensuring accountability for outcomes Set effective metrics and standards, communicate them to teams and Community of Practice participants Skills And Experience
Identify, assess and monitor risks related to setting up and running knowledge capabilities; support controls and mitigation plans Establish governance, transparency, tracking and communications around Knowledge activities and deliverables Demonstrate exemplary conduct and adherence to the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and the Group Code of Conduct Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters Key Stakeholders

Minimum 5 years in project / programme / portfolio management for mid-large, complex initiatives, ideally in financial services Experience in building and running Knowledge Hub frameworks Understanding of training frameworks, certifications and collaboration with HR Learning & Development Knowledge of the SCB ways Experience in learning and development of teams, with passion for disseminating knowledge Strong influencing and communication skills (oral, written, presentation); ability to translate technical information simply Can-do attitude, diligent and detail-oriented Growth mindset with willingness to experiment and learn quickly Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to build relationships from senior management to individual teams Team player with multicultural awareness and experience in a global service delivery model Confident and proactive in raising / escalating issues Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Group’s core values About Standard Chartered
