This role will lead the Group's consolidation & statutory reporting and management reporting, delivering timely and accurate financial reports and ensuring operational effectiveness.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Group Consolidation & Statutory Reporting
  • Oversee timely and accurate monthly group consolidation in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage preparation of group financial statement and statutory filing across jurisdictions.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and coordinate & manage the annual audit process.
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial reporting standards and assess their impact on the Group.
  • Group Management Reporting
  • Lead the preparation of various management reports, including Board papers and analysis, with meaningful business insights and commentary.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand performance drivers and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
  • Drive improvement in reporting processes and KPI tracking.
  • Support Financial Controller in finance transformation and modernization initiatives.

Requirements :

  • Proven record of effective leadership skills, with the ability to manage, inspire and develop cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MFRS / IFRS, group consolidation principles and statutory reporting.
  • High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in working with SAP or Oracle ERP systems and strong excel / data analytics skills.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and ability to translate financial data into insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the confidence to work independently.
  • Mandatory - Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, multi-entity consolidation, 2 to 3 years in managerial capacity and at least one Big 4 audit firm experience.
