Job Description
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, supporting Group Business Services (GBS). As part of InnoHub2, you will work on Group initiatives, deliver trusted financial solutions, and gain regional business exposure.
Job Responsibilities
Candidates are expected to :
- Understand business functions and analyse user requirements, creating a clear scope and project management plan.
- Lead scoping of data sourcing, functional enhancements, and application design; conduct specifications and secure user agreements.
- Obtain commitments from stakeholders on project plans and manage change.
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Communicate key project plans, requirements, QA, and scope changes.
- Arrange User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with vendors for test environments.
- Produce deployment runbooks and implementation plans.
- Prepare necessary documents to facilitate project delivery (release checklists, UAT results, etc.).
- Communicate project details and schedules to the business.
- Lead and coordinate Go‑Live activities, including deployment plans and checklists.
- Ensure delivered projects meet or exceed user expectations.
- Review post‑implementation issues from project deployment.
- Manage risks and resolve production incidents related to assignments.
- Coordinate relationships and work across team members and developer resources.
- Understand impacts of branches, code merges, change requests, and production incident fixes.
- Supervise developers to ensure quality coding practices and processes are observed.
- Continuously improve the FA team’s processes.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
5‑10 years of project management experience, with exposure to best practices and lifecycle management.5‑10 years supporting SAP ECC6 environments from a functional perspective, especially Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules.Working knowledge of MM, Workflow Management, Flexible Real Estate (RE‑FX), and Asset Accounting (AA) preferred.Familiarity with SAP ABAP, Control‑M scheduling, and JIRA issue management preferred.Knowledge of SAP Basis and Oracle databases preferred.Formal training in project management practices preferred.Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; working knowledge of MS Access.Experience with IT support of Financial Accounting and Procurement functions preferred.Strong requirement analysis and functional design skills within SAP ECC6.Self‑learning ability and quick learner.Adaptability, flexibility, and thriving in fast‑paced environments.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to network and influence without direct oversight.Capability to develop and maintain productive relationships with colleagues in distributed global locations.Additional Requirements
