EverLantern Sdn Bhd, a leading chemical engineering firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Waste Water Treatment Technician to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art waste water treatment facilities, playing a crucial part in our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

What you'll be doing

Monitoring and maintaining the performance of waste water treatment systems, ensuring optimal operational efficiency
Conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all equipment
Collecting and analysing water samples to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
Documenting and reporting on all operational activities, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements
Collaborating with the engineering team to support the implementation of new waste water treatment technologies and solutions
Providing technical guidance and training to other team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development

What we're looking for

Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in waste water treatment operations

Strong technical knowledge of waste water treatment processes, equipment and regulatory requirements

Proficient in the use of water analysis equipment and data management software

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement in all aspects of the role
