Early intervention Therapist

Role Description

This is a freelance remote position for an Early Intervention Therapist. The therapist will work collaboratively with children, families, and professionals to deliver individualized early intervention services. Responsibilities include assessing developmental needs, creating tailored intervention plans implementing therapeutic activities, consulting with caregivers to support developmental progress, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with professional and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in early childhood development, child-centered therapy techniques, and developmental assessments
• Experience with individualized intervention planning, progress monitoring, and family-centered practices
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of children and their families
• Organizational and documentation skills to manage records and maintain compliance with regulations
• Bachelors degree in occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychology, special education, or a related field (required)
• Valid license or certification as an early intervention therapist (as applicable per region)
• Previous experience in early intervention or working with children with developmental delays is a plus
