Account / Tax Assistant

Overview

Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment with guidance from Senior. Update and maintain accurate records of general ledger with guidance from Senior. Handle simple tax work like tax administration work and tax filing with guidance from Senior. Assist in weekly / monthly / yearly bank reconciliations and cross-check with monthly bank statements and also handle payroll work with guidance from Senior. Assist in bookkeeping and preparation of accounts and audit schedules with help from Senior.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process invoices, expense forms, and payment requests in accordance with guidance from Senior.
• Update and maintain general ledger records under supervision.
• Perform simple tax administration tasks and tax filings with guidance.
• Assist with weekly, monthly, and yearly bank reconciliations and verify against monthly bank statements; assist with payroll tasks under guidance.
• Assist in bookkeeping and preparation of accounts and audit schedules with help from Senior.
