Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and empower the sales team to consistently achieve performance targets (KPI).
- Deliver ongoing training and support to strengthen sales techniques, deepen knowledge of design concepts, materials, and finishes, and elevate client engagement.
- Manage the full sales cycle , from lead generation and client qualification through tailored design proposals, mood board presentations, negotiations, and successful contract closures.
- Ensure proposals and presentations communicate design vision effectively, reflecting the firm’s brand identity.
- Review and assess designers’ outputs including 3D renderings, 2D space plans, moodboards, and construction drawings to confirm alignment with client requirements and budget.
- Serve as the key liaison between sales, design, and project management teams , ensuring seamless integration of creative vision, technical execution, and client expectations.
- Provide constructive feedback to the design team to enhance visual impact, storytelling, and clarity of client-facing presentations.
- Anticipate and resolve challenges in the sales process, design deliverables, procurement choices, or client communications swiftly and effectively.
- Prepare and present regular reports to directors on sales performance, pipeline health, client feedback, and market insights specific to the interior design industry.
Qualifications
Possess an Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Interior Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field.Proven sales experience, ideally within the interior design or related industry.Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales , with on-site exposure preferred.Strong drive and passion for achieving sales success.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, able to work independently and deliver outstanding customer experiences.Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia . Mandarin is essential for effective communication with contractors, suppliers, and site teams, ensuring smooth coordination and problem-solving during projects.Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and contributing revenue growth.Skilled in negotiation, consultation, presentation (to individuals and groups), relationship building, strategic prospecting, lead generation, product knowledge, and time management.A keen eye for interiors and design will be considered as an advantage.MUST possess their own transport.This is an office based role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
