Assistant Manager, Finance System & Automation

Overview

ShopBack is hiring for the role of Assistant Manager, Finance System & Automation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial reporting, acting as a bridge between Finance, Engineering, Data, and Operations. The candidate will support system maintenance, data quality controls, and process improvements, educating finance teams on system functionalities and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Data Systems & Integrity : Lead initiatives to improve accuracy and consistency of financial reports through data validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Finance and Engineering to investigate data discrepancies and act as a point of contact for system integrity issues.
• Implement and maintain system-driven controls to safeguard financial data and support audits.
• Support the integration of NetSuite with other internal and external systems.
• Process Automation : Support automation of financial accounting and reporting processes and contribute to ongoing projects.
• Contribute to improving accuracy of Finance data through system controls and process documentation.
• Drive operational efficiency by supporting implementation of new solutions, including AI-enabled ones.
• Inter-departmental Collaboration & Support : Partner with internal stakeholders and bridge gaps between departments.
• Work with Product Managers to support QC and rollout of new system solutions.
• Promote accountability and compliance by assisting with end-to-end documentation of key processes.
