Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand market presence. The ideal candidate will proactively identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and execute effective sales strategies to grow modern trade and other key business channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development : Identify and secure new clients across Malaysia and export markets, building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
- Account Management : Grow and manage key customer accounts to achieve revenue targets.
- Sales Execution : Support sales leadership in implementing strategies and achieving business goals.
- Customer Engagement : Lead product presentations, sampling, and negotiations to ensure profitability.
- Collaboration : Partner with R&D, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Market Insights : Monitor market trends and competitors to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Reporting : Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM updates for performance tracking.
- Team Support : Guide and support the Business Development Executive to enhance team performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing, or food service industries.Ability to build strong customer relationships and networks within the FMCG or food industry.Highly results‑driven, ambitious, and proactive in pursuing business growth.Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.Seniority level
