Design Engineer

About the role Join Huo Loong Enterprise as a Design Engineer in our Ipoh Perak office. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in the design and development of innovative civil and structural engineering solutions that support our clients' ambitious projects.

What you'll be doing

Conduct detailed structural and civil engineering analyses and design development

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform engineering concepts into viable, cost-effective solutions

Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and other design documentation

Support the implementation of projects from design through to construction

Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards

Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering practices, technologies, and industry regulations

What we're looking for

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field

Minimum 5 years' experience in a design engineering role, ideally within the civil / structural engineering industry

Proficient in the use of CAD software and engineering design tools

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Familiar with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and industry best practices
