Purpose of this position :

This role involves assisting the Shift Leader to utilize the process of operation according to operation conditions, assist in perfecting the defects in equipment and process flow according to the process plan, solving the problems in the production unit / equipment, and ensuring the normal operation of the production plant.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Execute equipment start-up commands and stopping operations.
  • Monitor the operation of air separation production through the control system, timely report the abnormal situation.
  • Operate the control system to control the air separation production and adjusts the working conditions as required.
  • Working with team members to deal with abnormal conditions of air separation equipment to ensure smooth production.
  • Cooperate with safety department to make work activities comply with requirements.
  • Strictly complete the on-duty inspection, and timely discover, feedback and deal with all kinds of hidden dangers and anomalies.
  • Maintain working standard environmental hygiene of the main control room, to ensure space in "orderly, clean and hygienic" manner and to perform proper handover during shift rotation.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by superiors and to work closely with Shift Leader.

Job Requirements :

  • Education in bachelor's degree or above, majoring in chemical engineering.
  • Have a certain knowledge / understanding of oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
  • Familiar with the content of 6S.
  • Preferably 5 years or more working experience in manufacturing industry. Experience in industrial gases industry will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with oxygen production working environment.
  • Understand and can correctly use personal labor protection equipment.
  • Has the awareness of Occupational hazards and safety protection at job site.
  • Hard worker and have a sense of teamwork.
  • Have the awareness to proactively manage the production process.
  • Able to take responsibility, learn actively and have good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work under shift rotations.
