Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

Prepare quotation & provide technical supports as listed below; based on new enquiry received and given by immediate superior

a. Able to interpret construction drawings (structural and mechanical) and translate into shop drawings for production

b. Prepare shop drawings for consultant or client for approval / endorsement

c. Estimate required quantity of fence & post & gates from engineering drawings

Able to draw 2D & 3D drawings or modelling using SolidWorks or AutoCAD software

Carry out site measurement, liaise with contractor or owner to carry site adjustment during fencing installation phase and prepare weekly progress report for client

Raise Variation Order (VO) and ensure compliance to Engineer Instructions as and when required

Co-ordinate with land surveyor to carry out as built drawings based on actual physical boundary

Assist Manager to carry our exhibitions, site visit & seminars (product training) from time to time

Skills / Qualifications

Computer literate especially AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Excel, Microsoft Word

Knowledge in VBA is advantageous

Good in Engineering Mathematics

Good interpersonal skills & communication skills

Can read and write in English and Malay Language

Min Qualifications

Min 2-3 years working experience in similar industry (Fresh graduates are welcome as on the job training will be provided)

Degree or diploma in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Civil Engineering)

Willing to travel outstation with minimum notification
