Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Linux / Middleware Engineer (L3) to join our Service Build Engineering team under the Middleware Tech & Environment Support unit. The role involves managing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-grade Linux and middleware environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in RHEL, MQ, Kafka, JBoss, WebLogic , and databases such as Oracle and MySQL , with proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, automate processes, and drive infrastructure stability.

Scope of Work

Manage, optimize, and support Linux and Middleware environments (RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, Kafka).

Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable across multiple environments.

Perform database-related tasks (Oracle & MySQL), including SQL scripting and query optimization.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex middleware and infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver stable environments.

Drive automation and configuration management using DevOps tools and scripting.

Provide incident management, root cause analysis, and environment ownership .

Key Skills & Experience

Must-Have (Priority) :

Strong hands-on experience with MQ, Kafka, RHEL

Middleware Expertise :

JBoss, WebLogic

Database Skills :

Oracle, MySQL (SQL scripting, query tuning)

Linux / Unix Expertise :

Administration, performance tuning, environment support

Other Skills :

Automation & scripting (Shell, Python, or similar)

Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis

Familiarity with DevOps practices

Seniority Expectations

6 9 years' experience in infrastructure / middleware engineering .

Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives.

Provide L3-level support , taking ownership of environments and ensuring operational excellence.
