Role purpose : This role is responsible for end-to-end lease management and financial reporting across the Toll Group, ensuring accurate application of IFRS 16 standards. Sitting within GBS FinOps and working closely with Group Financial Reporting (GFR), you will play a key role in maintaining lease data integrity, driving reporting accuracy, and strengthening compliance and disclosures.

Responsibilities
- Lease Administration & ProLease Management : Manage the full lifecycle of lease administration within ProLease, including loading new contracts, managing capitalisation schedules (property and equipment), and processing lease modifications and terminations.
- Maintain lease data accuracy in ProLease, including FX rate updates and daily reconciliation with the fixed asset register.
- Serve as the primary contact for business unit queries relating to lease data and ProLease functionality.
- Post monthly lease journals from ProLease into the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all business units.
- Lease Accounting & Financial Reporting : Ensure the accurate application of IFRS 16 requirements, with a strong emphasis on property lease accounting.
- Prepare and review lease-related journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting adjustments.
- Support month-end close processes, including lease payment reviews, additions reports, and movement reconciliations.
- Deliver accurate, compliant disclosures for statutory and group consolidated reports.
- Draft, maintain, and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lease accounting and ProLease processes.
- Process & System Improvements : Support ProLease enterprise migration projects, coordinate data cleansing, validation, and business unit readiness; identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA / ACCA / CA) preferred.5+ years’ experience in finance, with proven expertise in lease accounting under IFRS 16.Audit background strongly preferred.Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and controls.Experience with ProLease system is a value-add.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across teams.Details
