Senior Application Support Specialist (Node.js, MongoDB & Permanent US Shift)

Responsibilities

You are expected to provide 2nd level support and problem‑solving expertise concerning complex technical issues of application, infrastructure, data processing, tools etc. to ensure a robust, maintainable, high‑quality, standards‑compliant business applications software environment is developed and maintained. Ensure that all agreed targets, SLA and metrics are met.

  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned events and incidents through to restoration and collaborate with other support teams within the organization and external suppliers.
  • Maintain quality standards and policies. Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with the development team to overcome known problems and fulfill user needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science
  • 6+ years of experience in application support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work on permanent US shift
  • Proficiency in Open‑Source MEAN stack (Priority of Node.js & MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with cloud containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices and tools like Git Actions, Jenkins etc.
  • Strong knowledge of handling production incidents, troubleshooting & resolving issues within SLA, providing solutions to problem tickets and managing changes
  • Familiarity with ITIL Practices, DevOps Tools, Cloud Certifications is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and organize tasks under time and workload pressure.
  • Good spoken and written English for cross‑region collaboration.
