Cocoday is a Hong Kong–style restaurant located in Petaling Jaya, serving authentic stir-fry dishes, milk tea, and café-style comfort food. Our restaurant is a Muslim-friendly workplace (no pork, no lard, no alcohol in cooking).

1. Service Crew (Waiter / Waitress)

As a Service Crew, you will be the face of Cocoday, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm and welcoming dining experience.

Key Responsibilities :

i)   Greeting and seating customers with a smile

ii)  Taking orders accurately and serving food / beverages promptly

iii) Ensuring cleanliness and setup of dining area and tables

iv)  Assisting with cashiering and order management

2. Barista (Drink & Dessert Crew)

As a Barista, you will craft signature drinks and desserts that bring our Hong Kong café experience to life.

Key Responsibilities :

i)   Preparing beverages (coffee, tea, HK-style drinks, smoothies)

ii)  Handling dessert station (cakes, buns, toppings)

iii) Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of bar counter and equipment

iv)  Engaging with customers and ensuring consistent quality

3. Kitchen Crew

As part of our Kitchen Crew, you will work closely with our chefs to prepare delicious HK-style dishes with consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities :

i)   Assisting in food preparation, portioning, and cooking

ii)  Supporting wok chef in stir-fry and rice / noodle dishes

iii) Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety compliance

iv)  Cleaning and organizing kitchen and storage areas

4. Bakery Crew (Baker / Pastry Assistant)

As a Bakery Crew member, you will prepare our signature Hong Kong–style buns, breads, and pastries, ensuring consistency and quality while working closely with the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities :

i)   Preparing doughs, pastries, and buns according to recipes (e.g., pineapple bun, cocktail bun, egg tart)

ii)  Operating bakery equipment (mixer, oven, proofer) safely and efficiently

iii) Maintaining quality, portion size, and presentation of baked goods

iv)  Ensuring strict hygiene standards during baking, cooling, and storage

v)   Assisting with inventory (flour, yeast, butter, eggs) and FIFO stock rotation

vi)  Cleaning and organizing bakery station, trays, and tools

vii) Able to work early morning shifts (dough proofing and baking before service)

Requirements

• Previous F&B experience is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with willingness to learn
