About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Test Engineer to join our team at GBM ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. In this full-time role based in Chemor Perak, you will be responsible for testing and validating our company's electronic products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of electronic products
Identify and troubleshoot issues during the testing process, and work with the engineering team to resolve them
Document test procedures, results, and findings in a clear and organised manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the testing process and identify opportunities for automation
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in electronic product testing
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and internal quality control procedures

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in a test engineering role, preferably in the electronics industry

Proficient in using test equipment and tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues

Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Experience with test automation, data analysis, and report generation
