Overview
The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving targeted sales growth of a portfolio of specific customers by maintaining and developing existing customers as well as exploring new account opportunities while delivering a unique experience to customers.
Responsibilities
- Sales Growth & Account Management – Manage customer portfolios, drive sales visits, retain and grow key accounts, identify new opportunities, and develop strategies with the team.
- Product & Profitability Optimization – Understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, introduce new concepts / recipes, manage sampling, and support tenders.
- Market Intelligence – Track market trends, competitor activities, customer insights, and share intelligence with management.
- Stock & Forecasting – Provide accurate forecasts, monitor stock and supply schedules, and resolve shortages or wastage issues.
- Reporting – Deliver timely reports on sales, stock, and overall performance as required by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant sales experience in FMCG, food, or related industries is preferred.Proven track record in managing customer portfolios, achieving sales targets, and developing new business opportunities.Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products / solutions; prior exposure to SKU management, tender preparation, or food solutions is an advantage.Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.Proficient in reporting, forecasting, and problem-solving, with the ability to manage stock requirements and proactively address market challenges.#J-18808-Ljbffr
