Overview

The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving targeted sales growth of a portfolio of specific customers by maintaining and developing existing customers as well as exploring new account opportunities while delivering a unique experience to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth & Account Management – Manage customer portfolios, drive sales visits, retain and grow key accounts, identify new opportunities, and develop strategies with the team.
  • Product & Profitability Optimization – Understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, introduce new concepts / recipes, manage sampling, and support tenders.
  • Market Intelligence – Track market trends, competitor activities, customer insights, and share intelligence with management.
  • Stock & Forecasting – Provide accurate forecasts, monitor stock and supply schedules, and resolve shortages or wastage issues.
  • Reporting – Deliver timely reports on sales, stock, and overall performance as required by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant sales experience in FMCG, food, or related industries is preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing customer portfolios, achieving sales targets, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products / solutions; prior exposure to SKU management, tender preparation, or food solutions is an advantage.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Proficient in reporting, forecasting, and problem-solving, with the ability to manage stock requirements and proactively address market challenges.
