QA Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Manager to join our team at MCC Labels (Penang) Sdn Bhd in Perai, Penang. As our QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products. This is a full-time, on-site role. Responsibilities

Quality data is updating timely. Ensure Quality principles are applied to all systems; Maintain and continuously improve the ISO9001 : 2000 Quality System Prepare and control of the quality system procedures (Standard testing / inspection / operation procedures) and re-issues; Maintenance and control of standards technical specifications and quality related document and the application of the quality system procedures; Preparation and revisions of job descriptions, working procedures, training procedures (ensuring all QC personnel are suitably qualify and well trained) and departmental organizational chart / workflow chart; Nomination the type and frequency of inspections and tests to be carried out on manufactured products, according to standard sampling plan; Ensure the scheduled inspection of measuring and test equipment is subjected to appropriate calibration at the pre-determined time. Monitoring the adequacy of disposition and the need of corrective actions associated with the non-conformities; Controlling and reviewing of non-conformance report, customer complaints and other associated documents, plotting statistics in a graphical manner to review the adequacy of process control and product characteristic, proposing on collective actions; Monitoring and reviewing the quality assurance personnel to ensure working performance complied with the standards; Monitor and control department budget. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry Thorough understanding of quality management systems, statistical process control, and quality improvement methodologies Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficient in using quality assurance software and data analysis tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field What we offer
