The Intake Clinician’s primary role is to provide high quality, professional solution‑focused counselling and information support to employees of client companies telephonically in Malaysia. This is a permanent full‑time position working from home. The role operates on a night shift (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) in 12‑hour shifts with rotational days off to cover weekend shifts. The role must comply with call centre conditions and structures. Several pre‑employment checks are prerequisites for external applicants (criminal checks, reference checks, past employment checks, ID verification, qualification verification, residence and credit checks). Preference will be given to candidates with a background and working experience in the EAP field. Responsibilities

Provide the first point of contact for employees accessing the Lyra EAP service via telephone counselling or live chat. Deliver services to which the caller is entitled in a professional and respectful manner, according to standards set by the Clinical Manager. Accurately capture all information on the database pertinent to the clinical management of the case. Adhere to all clinical protocols and procedures as laid out by Clinical Management. Qualifications

Minimum of a Master’s Qualification as a Psychologist or a Counsellor. Registration with the MAHPC (Clinical Psychologist) or Lembaga Kaunsellor Malaysia. Bilingual, Mandarin OR Tagalog-speaking candidates required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Must be able to provide counseling within a short‑term framework. Computer literacy and ability to type fast. Ability to effectively merge Clinical and Employee Assistance Program focus. Client service orientation; articulate with good telephone manner and ability to provide telephonic therapy. Good clinical understanding and ability to manage risk; strong time management. Ability to work within a team and under pressure; business and commercial awareness. High attention to detail. Company & Compliance
