Job Description
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support our product, sales, and leadership teams by providing insights from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate will utilize large data sets to identify opportunities for product and process optimization, develop models to test various strategies, and employ data mining and analysis techniques using a range of tools. They should have a proven ability to drive business results through data-driven insights and be comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders and teams. A passion for uncovering solutions in large data sets and improving business outcomes is essential.
Responsibilities for Data Engineer
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to leverage data for business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data to optimize product development, marketing, and business strategies.
- Evaluate new data sources and gathering techniques for effectiveness and accuracy.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms for data analysis.
- Apply predictive modeling to enhance customer experience, revenue, and advertising outcomes.
- Establish and test A / B frameworks and model quality.
- Coordinate with teams to implement models and monitor their performance.
- Create processes and tools to track model performance and data integrity.
Job Requirements
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on product development.Experience with statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL) for data manipulation and analysis.Experience in designing and creating data architectures.Knowledge of machine learning techniques like clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc., and their practical applications.Understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques, including regression and hypothesis testing.Excellent communication skills for effective team coordination.A passion for learning new technologies and methods.3-4 years of experience in data manipulation and statistical modeling, with a relevant degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.Proficiency with software / tools such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, R, Python, SQL, Redshift, S3, Spark, and visualization tools like D3, ggplot.#J-18808-Ljbffr
