Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business objectives and design comprehensive technical strategies to achieve them.
  • Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap for the assigned application portfolio.
  • Design solution architectures in collaboration with application and software architects.
  • Provide implementation assurance to ensure the delivery teams remain aligned with approved architectural solutions.
  • Manage and monitor technical debt, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
  • Lead technology evaluation and selection to support business and technical goals.
  • Develop solution architectures and reusable building blocks that contribute to the organization’s architecture repository.
  • Establish and maintain standards, guidelines, and playbooks that support architectural governance.
  • Define and maintain the application roadmap for the assigned portfolio.
  • Present and obtain approvals for solutions, application roadmaps, and design decisions from the Architecture Review Board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect role.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and design patterns, as well as software design principles.
  • Proficient in solution architecture modeling using frameworks such as C4, Arch42, or UML.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing architecture standards, guidelines, and frameworks.
  • Proven track record in designing complex, multi-domain solutions spanning applications, infrastructure, data, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience in technology assessment and developing architecture roadmaps.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technologies and concepts.
  • Knowledge of TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks is required.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and related technologies is an added advantage.
