Oversee the financial operations and accounting functions of the company

Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations, including Bursa Malaysia listing requirements

Lead the financial reporting process, including the preparation of annual reports, quarterly financial statements and other regulatory filings

Manage budgeting, forecasting, product pricing computation and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making

Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management and the board of directors

Lead the finance and corporate planning teams and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets

Manage relationship with external auditors, tax authorities and regulatory bodies

Oversee investor relations and communicate financial performance to shareholders and analysts

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the public listed company and semiconductor industry
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and relevant statutory requirements in Malaysia, ie., Companies Act, Inland Revenue requirements, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements, Code of Corporate Governance etc.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, product pricing computation, quotation preparation and financial analysis
Good networking with analysts, investors, external auditors, banks and other financial professionals in the industry
Familiar in financial and analytical software
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and its financial challenges and opportunities in Malaysia
