Main Duties

  • Record and update daily financial entries, including invoices, receipts, journals, and payments.
  • Track outstanding receivables and payables to ensure timely settlements.
  • Carry out monthly reconciliation for banks, suppliers, and customer accounts.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, financial statements, and internal reports for management.
  • Manage petty cash, staff claims, and reimbursements according to company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers, clients, and travel partners regarding billing or payment matters.
  • Prepare schedules, reports, and supporting documents for external auditors.
  • Provide additional assistance to the finance team in administrative and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience; prior exposure to tourism / travel operations will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., SQL, Autocount, UBS, QuickBooks) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting practices.
  • Attention to detail, good time management, and organizational ability.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a team.
  • Job Types : Full-time, Contract

    Contract length : 3 months

    Pay : RM1, RM2,300.00 per month
