Database Administrator & System Analyst

Location : Mont Kiara Office

Job Description :

This dual-role position combines database administration with system analysis. The successful candidate will manage SQL databases, optimize performance, and contribute to ERP system enhancements and software projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Administration

Develop, refine, and troubleshoot MS SQL scripts.
Debug and optimize Excel Macros that integrate with SQL scripts.
Monitor SQL Server performance; identify and resolve deadlocks or performance bottlenecks.
Support report development (SSRS), including migration from Crystal Reports.

System Analysis

Gather and document User Requirements and translate them into System Requirements for outsourced software development.

Conduct effective user interviews and workshops.

Configure and maintain the Epicor ERP System (training provided).

Learn and apply knowledge of food manufacturing processes and industry best practices to system improvements.

Requirements :

Strong experience in MS SQL Server administration and query optimization.

Hands-on experience with Excel Macros and data integration.

Familiarity with SSRS or Crystal Reports (advantage).

Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Good communication and interviewing skills.

ERP system knowledge preferred (Epicor exposure is a plus).

Willingness to learn food manufacturing processes and adapt them into system workflows.
