The role managing the IT Automation team focusing on SDSM IT automation systems, including equipment integration, real-time dispatching, fault detection, and other aspects, typically involves the following responsibilities :

• Overseeing the entire IT automation function within the SDSM facility, ensuring seamless integration of automation systems and equipment to enable efficient factory operations.
• Managing enhancement requests and projects related to factory automation, from initial planning through execution to final delivery.
• Coordinating and assigning resources to each project to ensure timely completion that aligns with business needs.
• Ensuring real-time dispatching and fault detection systems work effectively to minimize downtime and optimize factory performance.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to align automation initiatives with business strategies and technical requirements.
• Tracking project progress, addressing challenges promptly, and maintaining quality standards in automation deliverables.

Qualifications

Required :

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Semiconductor industry.

Skills :

Good problem analysis and solving skills

Preferred :

Knowledge in Software development using Microsoft .NET framework, especially C#.Net

Familiarity with SECS / GEM equipment communication protocols.

Knowledge of Applied Materials E3, RTD, and Fault Detection applications

Experience with Siemens Opcenter (CAMSTAR) MES system development is a plus
