Job Description
The Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in driving technical sales and business growth for valves and related products. This position combines engineering expertise with commercial acumen to deliver effective product solutions, prepare technical proposals, and provide comprehensive support throughout the sales process. The Sales Engineer will actively identify new business opportunities, engage with consultants, contractors, and plant owners, and foster strong client relationships to achieve sales goals and contribute to the company’s continued market expansion.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned market, engaging potential clients to generate sustainable revenue streams.
Manage the complete sales process — from prospecting and proposal development to presentation and deal closure — ensuring an effective and professional approach.
Conduct market research to uncover opportunities, strengthen company visibility, and maintain long‑term relationships with consultants and plant owners.
Formulate and implement strategic sales plans using creativity and sound judgment to drive results and increase market share.
Work closely with senior management to assess potential business risks, maintain customer satisfaction, and ensure consistent client engagement and follow‑up.
Requirements
Preferably 2–3 years of sales experience in the valve or related engineering industry .
Holds at least a Diploma, Degree, or Postgraduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering , or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to build lasting client relationships and successfully close sales.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities , with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and addressing challenges.
Self‑driven and independent , able to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
