About the role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Keeper to join our team at Oriental United Construction Sdn Bhd in Menglembu Perak. As a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for the efficient management and organisation of our construction materials and equipment. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Receiving, inspecting, and documenting the arrival of construction materials and equipment
- Organising and maintaining the storage of materials and equipment in a neat and orderly manner
- Tracking inventory levels and generating reports on stock movement and consumption
- Coordinating the distribution of materials and equipment to project sites as per project requirements
- Conducting regular stock checks and reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory records
- Identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues with the stored materials and equipment
- Assisting in the procurement of materials and equipment as needed
- Ensuring the storage area is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with safety regulations
What we're looking for
At least 2 years of experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role within the construction industryStrong organisational and record-keeping skills with the ability to maintain accurate inventory recordsProficient in using inventory management software and spreadsheet applicationsAttention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepanciesGood communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with project teams and suppliersPhysical fitness and the ability to handle and move construction materials and equipmentKnowledge of construction materials, equipment, and safety protocols#J-18808-Ljbffr
