HUP SOON PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL (M) SDN BHD – Ipoh, Perak

HUP SOON PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL (M) SDN BHD is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quality Control Junior Executive to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufacturing processes and end products.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular quality inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify and address any quality issues
  • Documenting and reporting on quality control findings, trends, and recommendations for process improvements
  • Collaborating with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control activities and findings
  • Assisting in the development and refinement of quality control procedures and standards
  • Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 0-2 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of relevant quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001) would be an advantage
