Volcano Animation Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Scriptwriter to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Scriptwriter, you will play a crucial role in developing captivating and engaging stories for our diverse range of animated productions. This is a full-time position, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the creative vision of our studio and bring your ideas to life on the screen.

What you'll be doing

• Write engaging and creative scripts for short-form dramas / animations
• Revise and polish scripts, while contributing ideas to research, topic selection, and creative development of projects
• Evaluate IP content (such as short dramas and novels) from multiple angles, including themes, audience appeal, and market potential
• Stay up to date with trends and new developments in the short drama industry
• Refine scripts to highlight their strongest elements and provide clear revision feedback when needed
• Review and provide feedback on scripts written by other members of the team
