Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a world class manufacturing organization that embraces continuous improvement initiatives and accountable to deliver to company and customer expectations
• Provide leadership to a multi-functional team in line with Corporate, BEs and Functional strategies and core processes (SGS, LOR, PQP and AOP)
• Ensure the execution of plans for timely order fulfillment, capacity planning (mini SIOP and Supply Reviews), profitability and productivity improvement, quality improvement and the retention / development of talent
• Responsible for capital expenditures and budget recommendations for manufacturing operations
• Manage budget execution with a focus on margins and product costs. Has primary management responsibility for all manufacturing and material expenses
• Identify opportunities for product and manufacturing rationalization and / or low cost sourcing / outsourcing that enhance manufacturing and business performance
• Lead the development of scalable and robust processes for the smooth running of manufacturing operations. Processes should be well documented and controlled
• Evaluate the results of manufacturing regularly and communicate with appropriate stakeholders to facilitate effective planning and decision-making
• Create a working environment that promotes PerkinElmer Core Values and supports employee growth through communication, training, rewards and recognition
• Foster good working relationships with all customers, suppliers and business partners including overall compliance with safety, environment and quality requirements as well as local and international laws
• Administer duty as registered leader for site entity and manage the affairs of the company
• Responsible for representing the company in public at events or with the press.
