As we continue creating momentum for our products in the APAC region and helping customers with their communications needs, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the high quality and reliability of our cutting‑edge contact center and unified communication platforms, and contribute to the seamless delivery of exceptional customer experiences. This is a newly created and impactful position during a growth phase for the business. You will be instrumental in shaping new processes, bringing new ideas and selecting tools in a collaborative and highly visible team environment. Expected Collaborations
- Work closely with the QA Manager to align on testing strategies, priorities, and goals for the team.
- Partner with Test Automation Engineers to communicate requirements, design test plans, and ensure the integration of automated tests into the development pipeline.
- Engage with Product Managers to understand product requirements and provide feedback on testability and potential quality issues.
- Work support teams to understand, investigate and resolve customer‑reported issues.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead the quality assurance efforts for our software products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.Create detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans and test cases.Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities.Execute automation scripts using open‑source tools.Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing after bugs are resolved.Analyze complex software systems and understand how different components interact.Collaborate with customer support teams to investigate and resolve customer‑reported issues.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure delivery of high‑quality product.Advocate for and implement best practices in QA processes and methodologies and participate in process improvement initiatives.Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, offering support and training to enhance their skills and performance.Maintain excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication abilities in English.Work independently and in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment.Maintain test coverage, defect management, documentation, and execution of scripts using frameworks such as Selenium and SIP protocol test tools.Technical Excellence
Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans based on product requirements and specifications.Ensure high test coverage and perform manual testing such as exploratory and user acceptance testing.Identify, document and track defects using bug tracking systems such as Jira.Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts and ensure accurate documentation.Maintain history of escaped defects and identify ways to avoid them.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Any relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.At least 5 years of work experience in software quality assurance or software testing.Knowledge in industry‑leading test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or SIP and VOIP is a plus.In‑depth knowledge of functional, regression, performance, and security testing.Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.Continuous learning mindset and staying up to date with the latest QA trends and technologies.Experience in CaaS, CPaaS, Telco or Voice related domains is an added bonus.Benefits
