Accountant

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for accounting and finance activities within the company and business units to ensure financial reports are timely and accurate.

Provide advisory support to the business units on financial issues.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the preparation of timely monthly financial and management reports.
• Perform analysis on monthly financials of business units, including detailed costing & margin analysis on product line.
• Oversee AR, GL, Costing functions and any accounting scope as assigned by the Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts.
• Actively engage with the operation team to discuss and provide advice (where appropriate) on issue with Accounting impact.
• Ensure effective financial control of operations by monitoring and overseeing the use of control systems, procedures and mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, listing rules and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain good effective relationships with external and internal auditors;
