Technical Service Engineer – Photovoltaic Pastes

Location : WFH (1–3-week short trips to the US, India, and SEA)

Employment : EOR under BIPO (Employer of Record)

Role Purpose

Provide on-site technical support for new-paste qualifications and line optimization, ensuring customers achieve maximum cell efficiency and yield.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pilot runs and ramp-up support at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and solve process issues related to screen-printing, firing, and paste performance.
  • Translate customer feedback into clear action plans for internal R&D and sales teams.
  • Train customer engineers and operators on best practices.
  • Maintain accurate technical reports and customer visit logs.

Requirements

  • Education : Diploma or bachelor’s in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
  • Experience : 3–8 years in a PV cell production or paste technical-support role; hands-on expertise in screen-printing processes and metallization pastes is essential.
  • Languages : Fluent English (spoken & written); conversational Mandarin is a plus.
  • Mobility : Willing to travel 20-30 % of the year, including short assignments in India, the US, and ASEAN countries.
  • Soft skills : Strong problem-solving mindset, customer-facing communication, and team collaboration.
