Responsibilities

  • Teaching academic subjects and reading
  • History, Geography and various topics
  • Exploring the area to create field trips
  • Creating plans and extracurricular activities
  • Making a difference in a person’s life

About the role

We are looking for a home teacher for our extremely sweet and very easy-going son who has autism. While our son is pre-verbal, we have in recent years realized his amazing capabilities through his use of a letterboard. You will learn the cutting-edge program we use to teach his letterboard skills, as well as motor skills, etc. Supervision will be provided by those with certification in the methodology. This is a program that you can go further with in the future as a career as many families are looking for those with experience in it.

  • An interest and willingness to learn new skills
  • Flexibility and an easy-going attitude (you will be working out of our home)
  • Commitment to always be on time and be dependable

    • Hours

    HOURS : MONDAY - FRIDAY we run his timetable between 9am-5 : 00 pm (we may be able to be flexible on start / end time)
