Responsibilities
Plan and undertake investigations into fraud and non-fraud cases within Maybank Group.
Undertake investigations on other ad-hoc cases as requested by Management, IAC, EXCO, ACB and BOD of Maybank Group and regulators (i.e., BNM, Securities Commission, etc.).
Assist to drive the investigation functions within the Regional Internal Audit on new investigative tools / techniques and best practices by providing support through ‘knowledge transfer’.
Drive and lead the execution of investigations in line with Group Audit’s investigation guidelines / Framework and Bank’s Code of Ethics.
Engage with internal stakeholders and external parties on matters relating to investigations.
Coach and guide new investigator / auditor or inexperienced auditor assigned to conduct investigations.
Line trainer at Maybank Training Centre and other business forums within Maybank Group.
Issue investigation reports for tabling at Management Committee, IAC, ACB and / or BOD of Maybank Group.
Job Requirements
Degree in any related field, i.e. Accountancy, Economics, banking or other relevant qualifications
Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) or equivalent will be an added advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various level of people and maintain a professional approach at all times.
Possess the ability to articulate clearly in writing and verbally.
Able to work independently, prioritise, multi tasks, good analytical skill, leading a team and deliver results under tight deadline.
Resourceful, proactive, and willing to travel whenever required.
