Overview
We are looking for a Field Sales Specialist to be based in Perak , who is able to convince the best restaurants in Malaysia to join foodpanda. This role will report to the Lead, Field Sales , in the Commercial department.
Responsibilities
- Drive B2B sales and seek and secure new partnerships with vendors.
- Be passionate about the food and beverage industry with a desire to sign up the best local and international vendors.
- Be the local market expert : know the best restaurants & shops in Malaysia and provide recommendations.
- Gather restaurant and shop feedback, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management.
- Act as the brand ambassador : conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings, and sell foodpanda services to potential vendors including top shops and restaurants in Malaysia.
- Exceed sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently.
- Contribute to our international network and high-skilled team.
- Take responsibility for the business from day one and manage a portfolio of vendors (restaurants & shops) to exceed goals for retention, development, and maintenance.
