Language : Malay Interpreter
As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between Malay and English speakers. The interpreter must process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner while ensuring a quiet and secure environment. Note pads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.
Candidate Qualifications :
- Fluency in English and Malay
- Minimum 2-year interpretation experience preferred
- Excellent listening, retention, and note‑taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions
- Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication when requested or with permission of the client
