Senior Specialist, IT Solutions — Req ID : 79049 — Region : Asia — Country : Singapore — State / Province : Woodlands.
Responsibilities
- Engage the business to understand the business requirements to develop IT solutions that bring business value to support the supply chain business functions.
- Primary module : FICO.
- Secondary module : MM / SD.
- May lead a multi-functional work group or project team consisting of one or more support staff and / or tech / professional staff, or may provide advice and guidance in area of specialty.
- Be aware of market trends on up-to-date technologies capabilities, technologies and security expectations.
- Analyze, comprehend and communicate existing business processes and pressures driving the need for change.
- Develop new business processes, identifying inputs, processes, and outputs.
- Evaluate and apply best practices and trends in key business process areas to address business needs; evaluate and recommend application solutions.
- Identify people (organization and role) changes based on the new process and facilitate consensus on changes.
- Collaborate with outsource partner to develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, data conversions, application extensions / modifications and outputs.
- Collaborate to develop and maintain a business IT strategy aligned to the Global Celestica IT strategy to support projects and service requirements.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Equivalent. Min 10 years in IT (Functional MM / SD).
Knowledge / Skills
Functional – FICO
Strong knowledge of tools in Finance & Costing SAP suite.Hands-on configuration for new company code.Excellent business analysis skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience
Strong business and application knowledge & experience working on large projects.Deployment experience specific to SAP with cross-functional & cross-country exposure.Technical knowledge & experience in ABAP, interface standards, SAP IDOC required.Demonstrated leadership / facilitation experience required.Critical Competencies & Attributes
Excellent finance & costing functional & technical skills.Strong analytical & problem solving skills.Good understanding of SCM business process.Good understanding of software development life cycle.Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and balance workload.Outstanding listening, interpersonal, verbal and written skills to communicate with the business areas and clarify requirements.Experience in S4 Hana environment.Excellent team player; take initiative to drive improvements; results oriented.Knowledge of industry trends & technologies; ability to work in a diverse environment and with remote teammates.Willingness to travel on business trips as needed.Relevant manufacturing industry experience.Celestica is an equal opportunity employer.
