Position : PWG – Online Application Support
Role scope : Providing 1st and 2nd level support for all integration-related systems between PWG system. Responsible for in-depth analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting and providing solutions to issues (interface system) or escalating to the PWG technical online software developer or PWG vendor.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and script payment routing rules and setup parameters as per business requirements within the ACI payment platform.
- Apply specialized technical skills to analyze complex issues involving several platforms and data integrations.
- Possess knowledge of programming such as Java, Windows, and UNIX scripting.
- Raise incidents to respective systems, engage with relevant teams, and manage cases through to resolution. Record, analyze and manage incidents in line with bank commitments and incident management processes, escalating where appropriate.
- Restart applications on server maintenance / patching or during deployment.
- Failover to DR during disaster and fallback to production after disaster recovery.
- Prepare deployment documents and participate in deployment release management (CAB) for deployments.
- Conduct routine monitoring and analysis of system health checks and system housekeeping, ensuring system health across security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability.
- Provide trend analysis to management to enable informed decisions regarding system resource management.
- Monitor alerts and escalate abnormalities to the respective technical teams.
- Update management on abnormalities and next steps.
Job Specification
This role requires Application Support to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for projects and BAU activities of the Payment System.
Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor Degree
