Position Overview
The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all physical assets, buildings, and equipment across F&B outlets, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role involves overseeing renovation, maintenance, and repair works, managing service vendors, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to support business continuity and outlet performance.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, Architecture , or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the F&B, retail, or hospitality industry .
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building maintenance, renovation, and safety compliance .
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with maintenance management software .
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and travel between outlet locations as required.
- Willing to work on weekends or after‑hours in case of emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facility Operations & Maintenance
Oversee all maintenance activities for outlets, central kitchen, warehouse, and corporate offices.Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.Ensure all M&E systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, etc.) are functioning efficiently and meet safety standards.Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, risks, and improvement areas.Supervise renovation, refurbishment, and new outlet set‑up projects in coordination with Project, Design, and Operations teams.Review and interpret technical drawings (M&E, architectural, and structural) to ensure compliance with specifications.Monitor project progress, quality, and budget control while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and vendors.Source, evaluate, and manage external service providers for maintenance, cleaning, pest control, and technical services.Negotiate service agreements, track performance, and ensure adherence to service‑level standards.Manage procurement of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies in line with cost‑efficiency goals.4. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to building, fire, and occupational safety.Work closely with Safety & Compliance teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.Maintain documentation and reports for inspections, certifications, and equipment servicing.5. Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare and manage annual facilities budget, including maintenance costs, capital expenditures, and utility consumption.Analyze and report on maintenance KPIs, energy usage, and cost‑saving initiatives.Recommend sustainable and energy‑efficient solutions for long‑term cost reduction.6. People Management & Coordination
Lead a team of maintenance technicians and facility executives to ensure smooth execution of daily tasks.Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to the team.Collaborate with Operations, Project, and HR teams to address outlet and staff facility‑related concerns.Seniority level
